First, read about the need for domestic support if you have not done so already.
In our current culture, the wife and husband both work all day away from home, both returning tired to face cooking, laundry, cleaning, and many other tasks at home. Both husband and wife need time for rest and relaxation. Most husbands, however, feel a particular need to come home to an orderly, quiet and clean house. You cannot and should not be expected to do domestic tasks alone. You need plenty of help from your husband. Try to do what you can, however, to make your home a castle for him. A little planning or a little change in schedule could make a big difference in enabling you to better meet his need for domestic support. Discuss his desires and expectations with him, then decide with him some things that you can both do to turn some of those desires into reality.
Make and keep a budget together
No matter how much or little your income, you make choices regarding how some of it is spent. A budget is a plan, a set of priorities, that enables you to spend your money on what you decide you really want, rather than blowing it on impulsive purchases. The essence of a budget is long-term planning that will enable you to live within your means and work toward financial goals.
